A club of just over 2700 (only 50 Americans) have climbed Mont Ventoux from all 3 sides. Weather permitting, we hope to add 1 more to the list on our honeymoon.
Awesome movie. If you have netflix it's available on instant watch.
Movie info Shopsin's is a tiny family-owned and run Greenwich Village restaurant that has become a neighborhood institution, mostly because of its "character" of a chef, Kenny. Irratible and sometimes brilliant, he serves upmore than 900 different items, including hundreds of soups and ethnic comfort foods. But his strict rules, including a prohibition against a party of five or more, is what really makes Shopsin's one-of-a-kind. A true kitchen philosopher, Kenny's observations about life, politics, food, and sex give this film a vitality that doesn't let up. But after 35 years, Shopsin's has lost its lease and must face a difficult decision.
This spot has been around for a bit, but it still captivates me every time I see it. It reminds me of some of my favorites: Edgar Allen Poe, Edward Gorey & Nightmare Before Christmas.
